Michelle Conn
Michelle Conn is a high-energy, results-oriented professional with more than 30 years of successful management, fund development and training experience. She is the president and founder of MMC Consulting, an organization that provides clients with personalized counsel in fund development with a special emphasis on coaching, staff and volunteer training and fundraising plan development.
In addition to her consulting and facilitation work through Center for Nonprofit Management (CNM), Michelle serves as a Director of Strategic Partnerships for International Justice Mission (IJM), joining IJM as the first fund development staff person in 1999. During her time with the ministry, IJM has raised increasing levels of support – growing from $450,000 in 1998 to almost $90 million in 2021 – from foundations, major donors, individual givers and churches. Prior to IJM, Michelle worked for 10 years for the United Ways in Jacksonville, FL; Phoenix, AZ; and Nashville, TN with increasing responsibility for the annual fund raising campaign. Michelle previously served at the Center for Nonprofit Management as its director of consulting.
Michelle is a graduate of Auburn University with a BA in Public Relations/Journalism. She serves as a soccer coach through Goodpasture Christian School and as a meal server through the Nashville Rescue Mission. She serves on the board of Prevention Now. She lives in Whites Creek with her husband and son (currently in college).
