Nonprofit, business, government, and philanthropy all play integral roles in helping solve complex problems in our communities. At CNM, we’re working to develop a culture of collective action in Middle Tennessee that moves the needle on our community’s most pressing challenges.
If you are a community change-maker who wants to accelerate progress and participate in the collective action movement, explore CNM’s Collective & Community Impact programs.
CNM’s Community Conversations kicked off in the Fall of 2020 as a series of virtual gatherings focused on building and sustaining collaborative movements in times of uncertainty and unpredictability. They were revamped in 2022 to focus on precise topics to advance equitable change in Middle Tennessee.
Each conversation features dynamic facilitation from local and national leaders, peer learning through discussion, and experiential opportunities with practical tools. Anyone engaged in a collaborative effort is encouraged to attend these free events.
Past conversation topics include:
- Housing Affordability
- Model Minority Myth
- Equity & Access in Education
- Justice & Rehabilitation in Nashville
- Diversity & Equity in Health and Wellness
- Veterans & Mental Health
- LGBTQIA+ Equity in Business
