What level of impact are your nonprofit programs having on the community? How can a nonprofit measure their progress toward their mission and vision?
Evaluation is key in creating data-driven decisions about program improvement. It also helps nonprofits understand the true impact of their program. During the workshop, participants will have an opportunity to unpack their understanding of and experiences with evaluation and explore the difference between research and evaluation.
This workshop will provide participants with an understanding on how to develop an evaluation plan for their organization. Participants will learn foundational elements around evaluation design, how to implement evaluations, and how to analyze the data you receive.

Advanced Grant Writing
October 4, 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
o you know the basics... now come get advanced, in-depth help from an expert. Attendees will practice writing and critiquing different parts of a proposal, receive additional information on funding sources, and learn how grant reviewers analyze and review grant proposals.
Through this workshop, participants will utilize a concept paper and use it to write an effective letter of inquiry, write compelling sections of a proposal, use the common grant application as a guide for writing grants, and understand funder pet peeves and how to cultivate funder relationships effectively.
