Grants Management Fundamentals (In-Person)

After the initial excitement of being awarded a grant, many are surprised to find out how much effort is required to appropriately manage one.

The Grants Management Fundamentals workshop is designed to provide the foundational information needed to successfully administer a grant. Learn best practices for reporting, data collection, and ensuring your organization is complying with the grant requirements. Participants will leave with valuable techniques to help them improve the efficiency of their grant management process.

Note: The Grants Management Fundamentals workshop is designed for program leaders or fundraising staff who are new to grants management or looking for additional tools.

• Understand the importance of being organized and identifying grant requirements  
• Create organizational tools and reports to move your agency through grant implementation 
• Learn the best practices for communication and common pitfalls

Full participation in Grant Management Fundamentals is applicable for 3 points in Category 1.B -Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
