Job Summary

The Receptionist and Administrative Associate serves as the first point of contact for TSCPA members, customers, vendors, and other guests at the TSCPA office and by phone. This position provides administrative support to various departments within the organization including general office needs, supply orders, and daily maintenance of TSCPA’s on-site event center.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greets in-office guests and answers incoming phone calls and messages to the general email inbox
  • Provides general administrative support for on and off-site meetings and events, including data entry, coordination of catering, room sets, facility supply stock, material assembly, shipping, day-of support, etc.
  • Process event registration payments, cancellations, and transfers and promptly responds to inquiries regarding credits, fees, and event information
  • Assists members with general technology questions, such as website account access and other online processes
  • Processes incoming mail
  • Serves as building operations point of contact for items such as maintenance, repairs, supply ordering, etc.


Ideal candidate will possess exceptional communications skills and will have experience in a professional setting as either a receptionist, administrative assistant, or office manager. Basic computer skills needed. Basic comprehension of Microsoft Office 365 applications and multi-line phone system required.
