For thirty-nine years, our nonprofit has been a champion for older adults and family caregivers. Our small, dynamic, and dedicated team serves as a trusted community resource and advocate for older adults and their families, and we thrive on being a catalyst for solutions to unmet needs. The Secure Aging Collaborative (SAC) is a new grant-funded initiative led by AgeWell and the United Way of Greater Nashville. THE TEAM

AgeWell Middle Tennessee is located in Nashville, TN on the campus of Second Presbyterian Church, nestled in between Lipscomb and Belmont Universities. We serve older adults and family caregivers across 13 counties in Middle Tennessee. There are seven staff members on our team.
THE ROLE
-
The Secure Aging Collaborative (SAC) Program Manager conducts outreach, cultivates partnerships with project partners and referral sources, coordinates program delivery, organizes SAC partner meetings, and plans benefit eligibility events with the goal of making it easier for older adults to access financial counseling, benefit enrollment assistance and referral to supplemental income opportunities. The SAC program will serve Davidson County only at this time, but the Program Manager may assist occasionally with AgeWell events outside Davidson County.
Job Responsibilities
As the Secure Aging Collaborative Program Manager, you will:

Serve as staff lead and project manager for the Secure Aging Collaborative, working closely with AgeWell leadership and agency partners

Coordinate communications and monthly meetings of SAC partner organization leadership and direct service staff

Contribute to and implement community outreach plans through trusted community partners

Build and cultivate relationships with trusted community partners as referral sources and outreach event sites

Plan and coordinate Benefit Eligibility Events for older adults, working with trusted community partners

Work with Operations and grants Managers and partner organizations to track and report SAC grant and contract outcomes

Prepare regularly scheduled or special reports accurately and efficiently

Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related field and at least 3-5 years relevant experience

Professional experience including one or more of the following: direct service with older adults, program/project management, partner cultivation, coordination of a coalition, community outreach

Knowledge of benefit programs available to older adults

Skilled in relationship building and creating compelling written and oral communications

Comfortable creating and conducting in-person and virtual educational presentations and speaking in front of groups

Experience in planning, leading, and managing projects, as well as tracking and reporting on progress to senior management and grant funders

Ability to work and communicate with a wide range of internal and external constituents

Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently

The ability to work both independently and as part of a team to support the mission of AgeWell Middle Tennessee

Familiarity with the Nashville/Davidson County community

Database experience preferred (i.e., Salesforce, Charity Tracker)

Benefits
Job Type: 30 hours a week (qualifies as Full time for benefits)
Pay: $41,800 – $46,800 per year (depending on experience)
