Job Summary
This individual is responsible for maintaining Welcome Function and resource room activities including directing customers and assisting American Job Center customers with job searches, resume assistance, and other reemployment services.
Job Responsibilities
This position works under the direction of the One-Stop Operator and is responsible for performing customer service duties for a multi-program office. This position will assist customers both on the phone and in person by assessing their needs and providing assistance as needed in the Resource Room and Welcome Function. In addition to this, the One-Stop Navigator will promote job openings for local businesses and assist area employers in finding quality employees.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Moderate to advanced computer literacy skills
- Ability to instruct customers in using computers, fax machines, copiers, and other technology
- Desire to make a positive impact in the workforce development of Northern Middle Tennessee
- Excellence in computer software applications including word processing systems and the ability to learn new computer application systems
- Individuals who desire to work with diverse populations and low-income populations are preferred
