Position Overview: Mission Eurasia seeks a creative, data-driven, and results-oriented manager to oversee the strategy, implementation, and management of our marketing, public relations, and communication program. Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications, this role is responsible for building awareness and support for Mission Eurasia’s work and mission throughout Eurasia and Israel, to drive financial investment, awareness, and support. The Marketing Manager will be a key hands-on contributor while also providing leadership and strategic vision.
Job Responsibilities
- Overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of all marketing and communications, including social media, print and digital content, website, email marketing, public relations, newsletters, collateral, and advertising.
- Proactively developing ministry-wide messaging, as well as plans and campaigns for particular initiatives and constituencies.
- Measuring, tracking, and analyzing marketing results to inform effective decision-making.
- Ensuring that brand identity, messaging marketing, and communications strategy are infused in all organizational efforts.
- Developing and overseeing all media relations including acting as a ministry liaison as needed.
- Serving as the organization’s lead writer and editor for a range of internal and external communications.
- Maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external partners.
- Designing and managing public programs and events in coordination with the Major Gifts Officer and President.
- Building strong relationships across the organization to stay current on our wide range of programs and to infuse an awareness of marketing and messaging in all of our work.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- 4-year degree, preferably Marketing, Advertising, or a related field;
- Entry-level marketing experience with a minimum of 2-4 years in coordinating marketing and/or advertising campaigns, including online placements;
- Proficiency with various social media platforms including X, Facebook, Instagram, etc.; and
- Interest and knowledge of current events and marketing trends within a specific geographic area(s).
Critical Qualities:
- Mature Orthodox Christian faith
- Comfortable relating to an audience of diverse people and personalities
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong and proven communication, writing, and editing skills;
- Ability to adapt and pick up new techniques
- A keen eye for graphic design, attention to detail, and creativity.
