Job Summary
Characters of Character has only been in Tennessee for a few years and it’s time to fundraise and bring awareness to who we are and what we do! We would love for you to help build a committee to fundraise for our organization.
What is the purpose of fundraising committee?
The Fundraising Committee is a standing committee with goals of raising funds to insure the financial viability and stability of the organization.

Characters of Character has two important project we are working on and have been since we arrived. One is our donations to Children’s Hospitals of our Superhero Activity boxes and the other is our donations through PENCIL to donate our Mindfulness Confidence Building boxes to the Metro Nashville Schools. Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Research individuals, corporations, and foundations that are interested in gift giving.
- Effectively convey the organization’s mission, vision, and programs to potential donors.
- Write grant applications and fundraising proposals.
- Strategize and successfully execute fundraising campaigns.
There is no current Committee for our organization. While we’ve made great progress in donating over 1,000 of our Superhero boxes so far, now seeing the need and appreciation of them is critical to securing funds to continue our donations. They are actually being requested by the staff at the hospitals we are working with.
Qualifications
Your passion and enthusiasm to make a difference in the life of a child is of high qualifications! Your experience and knowledge of the community is appreciated as again, we are new here. We held a few small events back in Illinois where we moved from and I am familiar with the process and actually enjoy it! I’m here as is our Board for any and all support to be able to provide our projects to Tennessee.
