Key Responsibility:
Support the financial oversight and administrative duties of the Finance Office of 510 Foundation through counting income, preparing reports, and working directly with 510 Foundation Treasurer, President, Chief Operations Officer & Ministry Directors/Staff of 510 Foundation.

Job Responsibilities
Finance Associate Job Responsibilities 510 Foundation:
- Review Financial Transactions for Accuracy
- Input Transactions into the Correct Ledger Account
- Process Invoices and Purchase Orders
- Record Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Reconcile Bank Statements and Other Accounts
- Pay Vendors as They Come Due
- Complete Required Tax Forms
- Make Deposits and Record all Cash Receipts
- Update the Internal System with Financial Data
- Prepare Funds & Financial Equipment for Ministry & Parking Lot Fundraisers
- Manage the Office Petty Cash Fund
- Submit Payroll Information
- Assist with Budget Preparation
- Participate in Financial Audits
- Administers Internal Non-Profit Management Database System
- Attends Meetings as Required
- Attends and Assists with Annual 510 Foundation Fundraiser
Insurance Related Responsibilities:
- Update the Database Regularly to Ensure Accurate Details
- Complete Administrative Tasks, as Assigned
Qualifications
Administrative Work Hours: 20-25 hours/week
Qualifications:
- 3+ Years of Proven Work Experience as a Bookkeeper/Accountant
- Solid Knowledge of Payroll and Bookkeeping Principles
- Understand How to Balance Large Bank Accounts
- Proficient with Database Accounting Systems and Microsoft Office
- Organizational Skills
- Financial Management & Budget Development
- Experience Using Financial Software
- Advanced MS Excel Skills
- Knowledge of Financial Regulations
- Sharp Time Management Skills
- Effective Oral & Written Communicator
- Exceptional Interpersonal Skills
The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, and the ability to meet deadlines and communicate complex data in a clear way. He/She must have dependable organization, collaboration, and follow-through skills, and will be required to maintain strong and healthy relationships with residents of Nashville, Staff/Volunteers for the Ministries, and the Leadership of Nashville First Church of the Nazarene & the 510 Foundation.
