Nashville Anti-Human Trafficking (NAHT) is a Christ-centered team of intervention specialists who rescue and restore women and children from the bondage of human trafficking. We are seeking a top-tier Executive Assistant to work hand in hand with our Executive Director.

The Executive Assistant will be organized, engaged, and highly detailed to assist and support the Executive Director in the areas of Communication, IT, Scheduling, Editing, Development, and other responsibilities to further the mission of NAHT from the Executive office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Schedule meetings for the Executive Director (ED) and coordinate ED and facility calendars
  • Make and return phone calls with warmth and professionalism on behalf of ED to prospective volunteers, media, board members, donors, partner organizations, and other stakeholders
  • Read and prepare emails as directed by ED with a high level of professionalism
  • Run reports and prepare packets for Board meetings and Development opportunities
  • Create and edit PowerPoint presentations, donor letters, and other materials to support ED
  • Write thank-you letters on behalf of ED and NAHT to all who give their time and resources
  • Learn and utilize Little Green Light, donor software, to support the running of relevant reports for presentations and to assist the ED in other functions related to software utilization
  • Step in as hostess for tours when ED is not available
  • Assist with planning and executing Donor events as needed
  • Think ahead on all fronts preparing necessary documents, spotting potential scheduling conflicts, and enabling the Executive office to run smoothly
  • Create packets for Team Leadership meetings
  • Organize email and keep ED up to date on requests
  • Create a Day at a Glance document each day that organizes the ED’s day

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 4 Year College degree
  • Experience: 3 – 5 years of related work experience supporting, organizing, and executing in a business or non-profit setting. Prior experience as an Executive Assistant or experience in a non-profit is a plus.

  • Takes pleasure in staying ahead of the game and keeping everyone else there as well
  • Flexibility and positivity working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively in Microsoft Office, inclusive of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to create PowerPoint presentations
  • Professional experience and aptitude in learning and utilizing different software and databases
  • Exceedingly well-organized with the ability and experience to prioritize, manage, and complete work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written skills across all platforms of communication, inclusive of editing ability and professional writing skills
  • Commitment to respectful and equitable engagement with diverse and vulnerable staff, members, organizations, and other stakeholders
  • Alignment with the mission of NAHT and the commitment to support growth
  • Proven ability to retain confidentiality

Benefits

The Executive Assistant is a full-time salary position without benefits, with working hours of 8:30 – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday, with occasional night or weekend event support requested.
