Job Summary

Mission:         

To provide a continuum of evidence-based services for women and their families impacted by addiction, mental illness, trauma, and/or incarceration with Christ-centered compassionate care.

Summary:     

To provide clinical and program leadership for all TND interests and Correctional Release Center in Chattanooga which includes clinical staffing and evidence-based program development and quality assurance for recovery support services for women returning to the community from incarceration settings.

Job Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to the following and may be subject to change based on organizational needs:

  • Provide leadership and oversight for all Correctional Release Center (CRC) Staff
  • Responsible for providing direct clinical care for CRC clients in the event additional clinical coverage is required to ensure group, individual, crisis, and family counseling services are provided per program requirements.    
  • Provide leadership and training for CRC staff regarding the “TND model”, its guidelines, program nuances, and client accountability system.  Establish strong, positive community partnerships to enable effective collaborations with community-based service providers.
  • Oversee counselor/administer ASI/ASAM, psychosocial assessments and develop and monitor treatment plans for CRC clients as well as provide oversight and accountability for CRC staff to ensure compliance regarding the same. 
  • Serve as PREA Coordinator for the facility
  • Responsible for being the primary liaison with TDOC staff and officials to coordinate program-related needs and to comply with TDOC operations at all times.
  • Responsible for implementing and ensuring program compliance with stated UDS and breathalyzer testing programs in TND’s CRC.
  • Responsible for ensuring quality therapeutic care for clients served in CRC while adhering to the federal and state licensing statutes as well as respective grant requirements and documentation.
  • Responsible for adherence to standards of evidence-based practice for mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
  • Assist in maintaining licensing requirements for the TND CRC facility.
  • Lead treatment team meetings with TND CRC staff and provide individual supervision to direct staff reports.
  • Assist with the preparation of external audit responses for TND CRC, follow up, and monitor compliance with corrective action plans if applicable.
  • Develop and implement 12-step work studies and recovery support services for TND CRC.
  • Provide oversight for program and client outcome metrics monitoring, confidentiality of records, and peer review in accordance with federal, state, and local government requirements.
  • Assist the Operations Manager with ensuring an effective process that provides clinical coverage for staff absences and emergencies and for on-call staff usage. 
  • Establish and maintain partnerships and collaborative relationships within the Chattanooga communities.
  • Ensure that TND CRC meets all standards of quality and effectiveness for TND, Inc.
  • Assist with the supervision of and accountability for all work-related activities of TND CRC staff, interns, and volunteers as directed by the supervisor.
  • Work with TND CRC staff to assess program (volunteer) needs.
  • Manage application process; including applications, reference checks, and create volunteer files.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field is required.   
  • Current license, actively pursuing license, or licensed-eligible in mental health, addiction, or social work is required.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to be on call 24/7 or as directed by supervisor.
