About the Team:

We are a small and mighty team that works together collaboratively in support of Project Transformation’s mission to transform communities by engaging children, college-age young adults, and churches in purposeful relationships. We expect our team members to be problem solvers and self-starters who are organized, methodical, and detail-oriented. We work independently but depend on each other to be successful. You will report to the Senior Director of Operations and Impact.

Job Responsibilities

Role Responsibilities and Skills You Showcase:

You will provide vision and direction to the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based programs grounded in social-emotional learning, literacy, and developmental relationships. You will collaborate with families, churches, and community groups to impact community change.

Your passion for empowering others will be used to coach and supervise the young adult staff throughout their service term. Your approachability will create a nurturing and supportive environment for young adults to grow personally and professionally, with an emphasis on vocation.

Your programs must be designed to capture data that can be used to demonstrate Project Transformation’s activity and impact to its participants. The data will be used to improve program quality and to support grant funding and reporting efforts.

Your attention to detail and your ability to think strategically are necessary as you assist in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, budgets, policies and procedures. The responsibilities in this realm include: maintaining accurate records of staff, supplies, inventory, purchase card expenditures, and general budget management.

Your interpersonal and presentation skills are utilized as you prepare and deliver presentations; attend community meetings, conferences, and seminars. You may be required to work weekends, evenings, and travel out of town for extended days.

Your adaptability and can-do attitude are important in handling a variety of other matters as they arise.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or 5 years of relevant work experience plus 3-5 years of specialized program management and supervisory experience.
  • Strong project management skills balancing long-term planning with day-to-day operations.
  • Knowledge of developmental levels for children and youth, specifically those in a low socio-economic context. Commitment to seeing all children and young adults thrive in PT’s programs.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
