Job Summary

Faith Family Medical Center is looking to hire a driven Director of Operations who will be responsible for managing facility and workplace operations. Reporting directly to the COO, this position will analyze facility IT and phone processes and performance, negotiate vendor/supplier contracts, and ensure that tenants needs are met. In addition, the Director of Operations will develop performance goals and long-term operational plans, set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity, and will be charged with maximizing efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and reporting.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of the property. • Serve as a liaison with tenants, and manage maintenance, housekeeping, and security activities. • Ensure that facilities meet regulatory standards and codes. • Ensure occupant and visitor safety. • Supervise all facility vendor services. • Orders and maintains office supplies and goods in a cost-effective manner within budget. • Responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading IT, phone, and computer-related activities. • Ensures that office equipment and furniture is maintained properly. • Shares responsibility for maintaining a presentable, safe, and pleasant office environment. • Must be able to provide accurate data reports. • Draw on relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals. • Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks. • Implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs. • Adhere to the companies’ policies/procedures/standards and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed. • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university preferred or 3+ years of operations/facilities management experience. • Knowledge of Office 365 and ability to create forms for data reporting. • Experience in general IT support preferred. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Candidate should be self-reliant, able to solve problems, and be results oriented. • Ability to operate tactically as well as strategically. • Must be highly ethical with a high level of integrity; self-motivated; dependable and reliable; detailed oriented; able to interface easily with staff, other senior management personnel, and funding sources. • Able to lift 20 pounds. Edited 11/9/22 • Ability to work flexible hours, and will be the main contact for facility vendors such as the alarm company, access control, or non-business hours maintenance matters.
