Job Summary

Position Overview:

Support the current development plan for Harvest Hands, including coordinating dedicated processes to support CRM, church relationships, monthly donors, events, and event volunteers. Collaborate with the team to support revenue management.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

Development

  • Execute the current donor stewardship process including thank you, communications process, and email communications, and track necessary KPIs via reports 
  • Record gifts in the donor database and maintain records to ensure the accuracy of reports and donor profiles. 
  • Ensure that all giving profiles are updated and maintained.
  • Build and maintain relationships with church partners,  Empowerment Partners (monthly donors), and event contacts.
  • Assist with fundraising events as directed by the leadership team.
  • Assist with annual fundraising campaigns, including direct mail and email solicitations
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, students, families, volunteers, donors, foundations, community leaders, media, and partner organizations.
  • Additional administrative tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Additional Expectations:

  • Attend monthly staff meetings and weekly check-ins with the supervisor
  • Create individual performance goals and provide updates of results on a weekly basis in conjunction with staff meetings.
  • Participate in staff development and growth opportunities.
  • Participate in organization-wide events.

Qualifications

Requirements 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following professional qualifications:

  • A strong and clearly observable faith in God, and a strong passion and commitment to mission and outreach in an underserved community
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • 1 or more years of experience in development, volunteer management, or event coordination.
  • A commitment to Harvest Hands’ team member values of integrity, hospitality, humility, positivity, and responsibility.
