Job Summary

The Data Manager will work with the Family Engagement Team, and TN-TAN Coordination and Evaluations teams to collect all required data and report it on behalf of the Family Engagement Project.  The Data Manager will manage the planning and implementation of any quarterly and annual reports for The Arc TN and the TN Department of Education’s TN-TAN network. 

Job Responsibilities

General

Specific  

  • Work with the Communications Director to submit developed content to the State for review and approval a minimum of four weeks prior to use  
  • Report all events to the TN-TAN calendar 30 days in advance 
  • Ensure all content presented by our team has the correct evaluation tool in place 
  • Coordinate the maintenance of all data entry and reporting metrics, including but not limited to: 
  • EveryAction Call Center intakes 
  • EveryAction event registration forms 
  • Smartsheets event calendar for TN-TAN 
  • Redcap Survey data 
  • Ensure the Family Engagement Team is trained on the latest evaluation process and procedures 
  • Use EveryAction to create event registration links, maintain a list of attendees, and send follow-up evaluation emails to participants 
  • Attend TN-TAN meetings and stay up to date on evaluation procedures 
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings with the TN-TAN evaluations team 
  • Create and maintain a database of requested information to be used by the Family Engagement Team to ensure the provision of accurate and consistent information to families/educators and to inform the State’s activities 
  • Submit monthly summaries of the most requested information from the database above to the State 
  • Assist director with verifying submitted expense reports for approval 
  • Participate in Family Engagement team meetings and trainings as needed 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience working in the disability or education field 
  • Familiarity with content management systems such as Onedrive and Smartsheets 
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and perform under tight deadlines  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems 
  • Self-directed  
  • Ability to understand applicable rules, regulations, policies, and laws related to our various contractors and funding sources 
  • Ability to collaborate across programs within the agency and with other state and community organizations 
  • Demonstrated flexibility to meet the ever-changing requirements and needs of the organization 
  • Team player
