POSITION OVERVIEW
Climbing Guides lead the way for visitors on our amazing new Kinetic Climber adventure structure! Every hour, sixteen guests harness up to try their hand at the Kinetic Climber’s twelve unique climbing elements. You will work as part of a team to ensure that these adventurers are not just safe but having a blast!

The Kinetic Climber (see a picture) is a 25-foot-high structure that is front-and-center at Adventure Science Center. It is available free to any visitor aged 8 and up; for many guests, the Kinetic Climber is their first-ever experience climbing! It’s one of our most popular activities, with many climbers coming back again and again.

As a Climbing Guide, you will shape their adventure from start to finish. As part of a rotation of five, you’ll answer questions, manage the queue, help guests put on their safety equipment, deliver safety briefings, and act as a safety observer. Oh, and you’ll get to do some climbing, too! Climbing Guides also operate our Max Flight full-motion simulator, which takes visitors on rollercoaster rides or puts them in control of a fighter jet.
