Job Summary
East Nashville Wellness Center is looking for a well-qualified board member with expertise in non-profit fundraising to join our team. Our mission is to restore the wellness of Nashvillians through improving mental health, curbing addiction, and helping to find the music again. We provide mental health and substance use services to those in need.
We are a relatively new non-profit which incorporated in February 2021, and we have seen rapid growth ever since. Since we opened we have completed over 4,700 patient visits and prevented well over 30 hospitalizations. However, at this time, we are in the process of transitioning into our next phase of growth and thus are seeking additional board members. We are especially looking for board members with non-profit fundraising knowledge and experience.
Job Responsibilities
Our new board member would assist us in growing the organization from our current startup phase to long-term stability. Our current board has a wealth of expertise in the mental health, business, and legal fields, and we are looking to add a board member with more non-profit and fundraising experience in particular.
Responsibilities include monthly board meetings, as well as fundraising and development work outside of board meetings.
Qualifications
Previous non-profit board experience preferred
