Job Summary
Christian Community Services Inc. (CCSI) is a faith-based nonprofit organization founded in 1997 with a mission to empower underserved families through caring relationships, to achieve a legacy of social, spiritual, and economic self-sufficiency. CCSI operates from an asset development model and delivers services primarily via three programs: Basic Financial Training (BFT), Mentoring Towards Independence (MTI), and Homebuyer Education (HBE).
The Administrative/Programs Director will provide operational support for the organization, and programmatic management. This is a full-time, salaried position. Work hours will typically fall between M-F with specific days and times to be discussed and determined. This is an in-person position that operates primarily from the CCSI office.
Job Responsibilities
Job responsibilities primarily consist of administrative and programming tasks.
Administrative Support
- Data entry/management
- Assist with advertising/publicity and fundraising
- Financial management support
- Assist with program evaluation and continuous improvement efforts
- Supervise administrative volunteer
- Other responsibilities as needed
Programs Management
- Basic Financial Training (BFT), Mentoring Towards Independence (MTI), and Homebuyer Education (HBE) programs
- Program scheduling, inquiries, and application management
- Workshops and class sessions logistical coordination/implementation
- Communications and curriculum ongoing enhancement
- Programs volunteer recruitment, training, and management
- Assist with identification and outreach to develop relevant partnerships
- Launch the CCSI/MTI Alumni Association
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred. At least three years of managerial or equivalent experience is required. Experience respectfully working with and providing services to families with low to moderate incomes. Preference is given to those with a faith-based, service-minded orientation.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office, databases, and social media. Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with high-quality outcomes
- Ability to diligently practice confidentiality
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively to produce desired outcomes
- Mindset and commitment to interact respectfully with all CCSI constituent groups
