Administrative Coordinator



Job Summary

Greater Nashville REALTORS®, a 6,200-member REALTOR® trade association, is currently accepting resumes for the position of Administrative Coordinator. Reporting to the Professional Development Director, this position assists the professional development team with ongoing strategic goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist Education Center visitors
  • Answer department phone calls and assist callers as needed
  • Monitor department inbox and respond to emails as needed
  • Coordinate with Professional Development staff to prepare for class attendance including registration, payment processing, and classroom setup
  • Assist with proctoring virtual classes
  • Check students in and out of classes
  • Assist with creating class rosters and reporting course completions
  • Coordinate food and beverage needs for in-person classes, including placing catering orders and arranging, replenishing, and cleaning up food and beverage area
  • Provide technical assistance to in-person and virtual students
  • Monitor office and kitchen inventory and order supplies when needed
  • Collect, organize, and analyze class data
  • Assist with proctoring virtual classes
  • Provide LMS support, including creating and modifying content, trouble-shooting issues, and other tasks as needed
  • Assist with room rental responsibilities
  • Support other departments with projects and tasks as needed


  • Superior customer service skills, including the ability to deescalate situations while maintaining composure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Personable and professional demeanor
  • Effective time and organizational management skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with meeting technology
  • Familiarity with database systems and willingness to learn and operate our association management database software
  • Experience with a trade association, education, and/or the real estate industry
  • Event planning/hosting experience
