About CEO Conversations:
CNM’s CEO Conversations are designed to provide learning and networking opportunities for Executive Directors and CEOs. With a mix of educational and social gatherings, this series invites participants to share best practices and work together to sharpen leadership skills.
Event Description:
Disruptive communication often has a negative connotation, but more often than not, it can provide a net positive for healthy growth in our personal and professional lives. When leaders encourage disruptive conversations and meaningful work conflict, their nonprofit has the opportunity to become a more healthy, transparent, and equitable organization.
So, how can CEO’s transform uncomfortable office tensions into respectful and problem-solving dialogues that can help teams move closer toward their goals? Join CNM's Director of Community Impact and Equity Initiatives, Dawn Stone, for the final CEO Conversation of 2021. Together we will learn how leaders can mine for conflict, encourage diverse opinions to be voiced, and ensure healthy discussions about work-related issues and ideas become the norm.
Featured Speaker:
With over 22 years of public speaking experience, an MBA in Marketing, and an MA in Conflict Management, Dawn is equipped to lead organizations into stronger corporate cultures and improved processes through education and training.
Structure:
8:00am - 8:15am: Introductions
8:15am - 9:15am: Program/Discussion
