About CEO Conversations:

CNM’s CEO Conversations series is designed to provide learning and networking opportunities for Nonprofit Executive Directors and CEOs. With a mix of educational and social gatherings, CEO Conversation events allow space for Executives to share best practices while strengthening the whole nonprofit community.

Event Description:

Nearly 40% of nonprofit communications staff say that internal communications to other staff and the board are an essential or high priority. For most nonprofits weathering the pandemic, it’s a low or medium priority, but still part of their workload. As you evaluate your current methods of internal communication, do you find your messaging leading your team down a path of confusion or clarity and purpose?

Intentional internal communications strategies begin at the top of an organization and play a critical role in motivating staff, building organizational trust, and creating internal brand ambassadors. So how can leaders give attention to internal communications activities with limited staff capacity and resources?

Join CNM and featured speaker, Leigh Ann Roberts (Vice President and Co-Founder of The Circle Center Consulting, LLC) for a reflective session where we'll delve into internal communication goals, strategies, and tactics. Walk away with an actionable framework that will make your employees feel more knowledgeable, connected, and appreciated.

About the Facilitator:

As a Mississippi native, Leigh Ann holds undergraduate law degrees from The University of Mississippi where she met Tracy, her husband, and business partner. Leigh Ann has been a civil mediator for over 23 years and is a well-known speaker and trainer in the field of leadership and workplace culture development.

She provides expert knowledge and feedback to her audiences on topics that shape the culture of both small and large organizations. Drawing on her years of experience as a legal and conflict management advisor in a variety of industries, Leigh Ann is passionate about helping leaders and professionals create intentional shifts in personal mastery and organizational culture.

Structure:

8:00am - 8:15am: Introductions
8:15am - 9:15am: Program/Discussion

As always, these networking events are designed to be interactive sessions. We encourage participants to find a location to participate where they can have their camera on whenever possible to engage with other participants and do what they can to minimize interruptions/distractions.
