Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the supply and distribution operations of the Community Resource Center through inventory management, warehouse management and delivery. This position is responsible for overseeing receiving, handling, storing, packing and distributing hygiene items. This position will collaborate with the management team to ensure facility cleanliness and safety in accordance with standards. The Warehouse Manager will professionally and proactively interact with other agencies, volunteers, employees and clients while successfully managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.

Job Responsibilities

The warehouse manager is responsible for collaborating with the management team in the continued development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures affecting the product and warehouse and will conduct training as needed for workers to ensure effective and compliant service and delivery.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associate degree or some college is acceptable if work experience shows capability. Minimum of three to five years’ experience in warehouse operations and/or management required.

Experience and Qualifications:

Candidates for this position will believe in the CRC mission, vision and core values and will be able to work cooperatively and compassionately with others from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills a must; as well as critical thinking capability, proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn/use barcode technology and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting changing demands and strict deadlines. Must have strong ethics, organizational skills and be detail-oriented, yet flexible and adaptable. Additionally, the best candidates will have the ability to motivate, inspire and encourage others; have strong customer service skills and a willingness to assist where needed. A valid, unencumbered driver’s license is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday – Friday, with some weekends

Qualifications

Education:  Associate (Required), Non CDL driving, Forklift experience

Experience:  Supervising Experience: 2 years (Preferred), Warehouse Experience: 3 years (Preferred)
