Job Summary

Park Center is seeking a progressive, energetic, mission-focused individual to serve as its President/CEO. The President/CEO must possess the academic and business qualifications for the position, as well as a passion for Park Center’s mission. Specifically, a minimum of seven to ten years’ senior nonprofit experience in mental health or community services, and a master’s degree preferred; Bachelors’ degree required in psychology, social work, health care administration or a related field. Visionary leadership, strong communicator and collaborator, management expertise and the capacity to oversee financial operations are essential, as well as public relations and fundraising experience while working for or with a board of directors.

Park Center has been serving Nashville for over 30 years, providing a place for hope and recovery for people with chronic mental illness, homelessness or addiction. We meet people where they are and provide support through treatment, housing, day programs and employment services. We provide hope and help to our members to navigate challenges and better live and work in the community.

We have pioneered and trained other nonprofits in breakthrough methods to
employment and partnered with Vanderbilt University Medical Center in one of the country’s first street psychiatry programs.
