We are searching for 2 full-time registered nurses who are seeking an exciting and rewarding alternative to traditional nursing in a Christian work environment. Job Responsibilities

Successful candidates will handle in-coming telephone calls from adult and pediatric patients and parents/guardians, and assist callers in determining the urgency of care needed, refer to or scheduling appointments with providers, and give health information and advice to callers.  Duties also include assisting in handling paperwork for prior authorizations and may also be called on to be a liaison between providers and patients. Works as a part of the nursing primary care team to achieve quality improvement by proactively looking for ways to improve patient flow, quality of care, safety, and health. Charts in the electronic medical record to established standards and protocols and performs basic computer skills efficiently. E-prescribes and/or calls in prescriptions per provider order or standard protocol. Provides patient education to the extent of knowledge or at the direction of the provider. Assesses and participates in emergency care of patients.

Qualifications

This position requires excellent computer skills to enter and maintain electronic record keeping and obtain necessary medical information such as prior authorizations and vaccine records.

Job Requirements:

  • Current RN license- no restrictions
  • Must have a current BLS card or be able to obtain one within 90 days of hire
  • 2+ years of Nursing Experience
  • Ability to train for a minimum of 3 weeks
  • Available to work holidays
  • Successful completion of Background Check and Drug Screen
