Mercy Community Health is excited to announce that we are hiring a Pediatrician at our Franklin, TN location. Mercy exists to show the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by providing excellent healthcare to all and support to their families. Mercy provides comprehensive Primary Care in our Adult and Pediatric Clinics. Mercy also addresses Mental Health in our Department of Psychiatry and Counseling Center. As a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC), Mercy primarily serves uninsured and underinsured patients in our community.

Job Responsibilities

What Is This Job All About?

  • Responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, health promotion and care coordination for children with acute and chronic health needs.
  • Participating in Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Care Team Collaboration.
  • Conducting regular thorough examinations on newborns and young children to check and record their health and normal physical development.
  • Examining sick children to determine their condition and ask intuitive questions to gather information about symptoms.
  • Prescribing and interpret appropriate lab tests to gain more information for possible infections or abnormalities.
  • Usual clinic operating hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and Saturdays 8am-2pm.


What We Need from You:

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical or Osteopathic Medical School.
  • Completed Residency in Pediatric Medicine.
  • Unrestricted license and DEA.
  • 2 years’ experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and PALS.
  • Experience with Athena EMR helpful.
  • Outstanding communication, time management and organizational skills.
  • Spanish speaking a plus.
