Job Summary
The Operations Manager is a part-time salaried position (20 hours per week) that we anticipate growing into a full-time position. The Operations Manager acts as marketing, development and operations support for the organization in collaboration with the Producing Artistic Director.
The Operations Manager works closely with contracted consultants, board committee chairs (marketing, fundraising, programming) and Producing Artistic Director on marketing, fundraising and operations.
The Operations Manager reports directly to the Producing Artistic Director.
Preferred start date: July 1, 2021
Salary: $17-18.45 per hour depending on experience
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- responding to company email, voicemail and social media direct messages
- Supporting board committees
- Daily operations such as printing, mailing, managing ticketing system, making bank deposits, maintaining donor records
- Assisting with fundraising events
- Managing marketing and communications in social media, newsletter, website, and reviewing analytics
- Coordinating volunteers
- Ensuring the studio is prepared for classes, rehearsals, performances and provides a welcoming environment to all
- Other duties as assigned; more information provided during the interview process
Qualifications
Qualifications: social media marketing experience; fundraising event management; highly organized; ability to work flexibly, remotely and in a hybrid setting; minimum age 18; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; development experience preferred; proficiency in computer, use of internet, email, Zoom, Google Suite, Google Analytics, MailChimp, Canva; strong communication skills; enthusiastic personality; commitment to the mission of the organization.
