Pet Community Center

Marketing & Social Media Specialist

Pet Community Center

Apply

Job Summary

As Nashville’s only nonprofit veterinary clinic, Pet Community Center (PCC) ensures that financial hardship does not prevent dogs and cats from receiving the high-quality veterinary care and services they deserve. We strive to break down the barriers families may face in caring for their beloved pets by focusing on four main pathways targeted at ending pet homelessness: performing spay/neuter surgeries, delivering core wellness, supporting community cats, and reducing veterinary deserts.

PCC’s marketing & social media specialist will develop compelling stories and create digital experiences that drive donor, client, and community engagement through social media, email marketing, online platforms, and special events. Using both creative and technical skills, this role will grow PCC’s brand influence across various digital platforms.

  • Assist with digital content creation and asset management, including landing pages, graphics, and website updates.
  • Design and execute marketing materials, press releases, and informational kits for events and meetings.
  • Generate reports to share with the leadership team and board.
  • Collaborate with teams to brainstorm growth strategies.

Qualifications

  • B.A./B.S. in marketing, design, or communications or at least two years of undergraduate educational coursework.
  • Proven track record in digital marketing (including content creation for messaging and promotion).
  • Skill in tracking key performance indicators and making data-driven recommendations.
  • Skill in managing a website, designing and implementing email fundraising campaigns, and using social media platforms.
  • Team player within a growth-oriented learning organization.
