Tennessee History for Kids
Job Summary
Tennessee History for Kids, an educational non-profit organization with a 15-year record of effectiveness, seeks a fundraising professional for a two-month project meant to raise the profile of the organization and generate sponsorships for our textbooklets, teacher training, webinars, posters, website and videos. This may be a one-time project, or it may be recurring, depending on its success.
Job Responsibilities
Contacting and soliciting organizations, companies and foundations that would be interested in sponsoring Tennessee History for Kids. Literature and material are already largely prepared. Travel to other parts of the state may be necessary; if so, costs will be reimbursed.
Qualifications
An ideal applicant will have fundraising experience and contacts throughout Tennessee. Pay is hourly, and there is a workplace if necessary in the CoolSprings area.
