Job Summary

Manage and oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring the primarily building projects from inception to completion. This role will have a project emphasis on building expansion, commercial construction, capital improvement projects, and other space and facility driven projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee building projects through design, construction, and delivery
• Source and manage project vendor relationships including architects, engineers, general contractors, etc..
• Review project plans, bids, budgets, schedules, and specifications to help drive projects to desired results
• Coordinate across teams and departments as needed to ensure all projects are coordinated with various ministries as needed
• Serve as a primary liaison between project teams and other ministries at Cross Point
• Manage and track in conjunction with project vendors overall project schedule, budget and major milestones to make sure all parties are on track with project requirements, schedules and deadlines maintaining urgency and proactive approach to projects.
• Lead project meetings and manage all project management systems and processes
• Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to excellence
• Ensure that all projects are executed embodying Cross Point Church and staff values.

Qualifications

• Proven effective project manager with experience who possess strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Clear and proactive communicator, energized by both taking and giving direction, while continuously asking questions
• Ability to work across teams and departments to serve varying needs and to manage competing tensions based on project priorities and strategy
• Ability to solve problems and resolve issues quickly with a capacity to manage multiple tasks in various stages of development
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain composure and grace in pressure and fast-pace situations
• Passion for the vision of Cross Point Church and a heart to steward its resources and opportunities
• Reflect the virtues of Cross Point staff by leading with integrity, humility, relational unity, and when the moment requires it, the ability to be scrappy.
