Organization Description:

For more than 20 years, NCRC has partnered with courts, schools, and other organizations in Middle Tennessee to provide mediation services at no or low cost, helping participants collaborate on realistic solutions to conflict that avoid costly court involvement and instead help to stabilize families. We use a restorative approach to conflict resolution that draws both on ADR best practices and research regarding compassionate, trauma-informed care.

Position Description:

The Nashville Conflict Resolution Center (NCRC) seeks a calm, highly organized, punctual, and self-motivated individual to assist the Executive Director. The successful candidate will not only be practical and process oriented by nature, but will have patience and a sense of humor when dealing with an ED whose work style is non-linear, whose calendar is hectic, and who is grateful for calm, cheerful, organized, and consistent.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Director, the position will be responsible for:

  • Managing the ED’s calendar (scheduling, monitoring, reminding, prioritizing)
  • Managing ED’s engagement plans with donors and referral partners
  • Managing the ED’s task list, using Salesforce and GSuite
  • Maintaining NCRC’s extensive filing system in Google Drive
  • Coordinating ED’s meetings with Board members and committees 
  • Organizing ED’s work with grants calendar
  • Organizing and facilitating staff meetings and staff continuing education
  • Ensuring that public communications (social media, newsletters, etc.) are calendared and sent punctually
  • Drafting and/or proof-reading ED’s communications, including grant proposals, quarterly reports, Board reports, notes to donors, etc.
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with tech platforms such as Slack, GSuite, Salesforce, Zoom, & DocuSign
  • Ability to update social media and website content
  • Excellent writing in English; ability to proofread and edit to ensure grammatical and error-free communications
  • A team player with demonstrated experience in administrative processes 
  • Ability to thrive on a team that includes people of diverse backgrounds and beliefs
