Job Summary

COA seeks a contract Project Manager to coordinate beta testing and launch of an innovative social enterprise to support Middle TN employers and caregivers of older adults. This contract begins February 2020 and requires 15-20 hours/week with the potential to add more hours as the program grows.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work as an independent contractor for COA reporting to the Community Engagement Director and Executive Director
  • Develop and implement a work plan to refine services during beta testing and launch of social enterprise
  • Engage and coordinate with COA staff, contractors and volunteers to complete product development including online assessment surveys, online portal, Lunch & Learn modules and phone consultations
  • Incorporate focus group feedback from employee caregivers, managers and HR representatives to refine product/service offerings
  • Research best practices and legal guidelines and create subscription agreements, packages, terms of use, etc.
  • Recommend strategies for building corporate and public interest for launch of new service
  • Create content for marketing materials in partnership with COA staff
  • Research and recommend educational and resource content for online caregiving portal
  • Identify “right fit” employers in Middle TN as prospects and coordinate with outreach and development staff to cultivate new corporate subscribers
  • Coordinate onboarding, scheduling, service delivery and customer satisfaction surveys for corporate subscribers and caregiving clients
  • Process employer assessment surveys and prepare summary reports for employers
  • Assist with continuous quality monitoring and improvement
  • Assist with project related grant reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 5 years of progressive experience coordinating programs or projects
  • Preferred experience successfully planning and launching a new program and/or service
  • Preferred experience with Chamber of Commerce, Human Resource Management and/or social enterprise
  • Demonstrated organization and project planning & management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Interest and/or experience in helping older adults and family caregivers
  • Preferred experience using Survey Monkey, Microsoft Windows applications and Salesforce
