JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Mentoring will lead MDI’s team of high-caliber mentors to provide industry-leading integrated mentoring and consulting services to ministry leaders around the world. The success of this role will result in transformed lives, and testimonials like this:

Job Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- MENTOR ENGAGEMENT, MANAGEMENT & RETENTION
- Mentor Engagement, Management & Retention – deliver MDI support to mentor team including prayer coverage, regular check-in points, and ensuring mentors are equipped with the resources they need. Completely absorb and understand MDI’s library of resources. Be accessible to Mentors as the primary resource for Integrated Mentoring & Consulting (IMC) expertise, emergency response strategies, complex problem-solving, and connections to the MDI professional referral network.

- MENTOR/CLIENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS & PROCESSES
- Leader/Client Experience – Ensure MDI services are delivered with excellence and align with the MDI DNA. Provide touchpoints for Client feedback and manage any adjustments needed.
- Intake/Pairings Management – implement and continually optimize the intake/pairings process to maintain MDI’s quality, while building MDI’s capacity to scale. Ensure Mentors are actively engaged to their maximum availability. Maintain extensive knowledge of each mentor’s unique skills, experience, giftings, and passions. Direct pairings through prayer and matching of leaders’ needs to Mentors’ abilities.
- NETWORK EXPANSION
- Mentor Recruitment – continually network, developing key relationships, to identify and recruit top talent to MDI’s Mentor Team.
- Church and Strategic Partnerships – Identify and establish relationships with key churches and strategic partners, whose interests align with MDI, and have the network to refer new clients, new mentors, and new funding sources to MDI.
- MENTOR TRAINING
- Oversee Mentor Training & Onboarding – coordinate and conduct mentor gatherings and mentor onboarding until a dedicated staff role is hired to oversee all MDI intellectual property and training.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree
• 20 years of professional experience is preferred.
• Nonprofit experience as a board member, staff member or leading volunteer teams is a plus.
• Solid understanding of staff management, industry specifics and business strategies
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Incredible management, communications and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in basic office software. Project management software experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with public speaking
