Job Summary

Provides on-site data entry and data quality support for H3ARC member agencies, and supports the work of the HMIS Manager in activities related to HMIS data entry and reporting.

HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) is a web-based data system which collects homeless service information and related data from shelters, supportive service providers and other agencies working to serve homeless and at-risk clients in Rutherford County for the purposes of ascertaining an unduplicated count of those experiencing homelessness, prioritizing and coordinating services, tracking client progress through the system of care into self-sufficiency, providing accurate aggregate outcome data regarding sub-populations and serving as a basis for community planning, needs assessments and program evaluation.

  • Assist high volume shelters and agencies with data entry including but not limited to intake, VI-SPDAT assessments, and exit data
  • Generate and review data quality reports
  • Identify data entry issues and assist member agencies with corrections and improvements under the guidance of the HMIS Manager
  • Communicate and work with agency personnel to ensure high quality data is captured and entered in a timely manner

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Associates degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred) from a Regionally Accredited College or University, or equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Two years of data entry experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs and form building
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of data entry
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and able to perform with minimal supervision
  • Have your own transportation, and able to travel to agencies across Rutherford County for on-site work daily
