Job Summary
The position is located out of the Sumner County Office and involves the supervision and monitoring of non-violent felony offenders who have been released from incarceration and assigned to house arrest through the Community Corrections Program for Sumner County. $18.27 per hour. Job Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
Activities associated with this position include direct supervision through home and office visits, establishing needed supportive services, and maintaining the documentation necessary to comply with program policies and procedures. Additional activities include providing testimony in court, assisting with electronic monitoring, collecting of fees, and maintaining a case management database. Job responsibilities require experience in community corrections, law enforcement, or related field. E.O.E.
Qualifications
Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social/Behavioral Sciences, or a closely related field. Experience in criminal court proceedings and working with felony offenders; ability to follow program procedures and make appropriate decisions. Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain detailed and confidential information.
