Job Summary

Volunteer Behavioral Health Care has an immediate opening for a Center Director to cover the Hendersonville/Gallatin campuses.  

Job Responsibilities

Personnel Management:

  • Productivity
  • Conflict resolution between team members
  • Hiring and interviewing staff
  • Corrective actions for staff and coaching plans
  • Termination recommendations
  • Staff training
  • Staff evaluations

Financial:

  • Manages program budgets
  • Provides services to meet revenue projection, reduce expenses to achieve zero neutral or (+)
  • Approve purchases for programs
  • Manage account and debit card purchases
  • Approve and authorize rental assistance within budget guidelines
  • Meet or exceed monthly THL/BHSN location goal 

Clinical/Program Operations:

  • Meets licensure/contract requirements
  • Meets BHO/CARF standards
  • Meets measures of effectiveness and outcomes of program goals
  • Maintains adherence to organizations policies/procedures
  • Maintains appropriate service mix
  • Management of new programs
  • Management of intake grids and intake follow up
  • Implementation and management of THL model
  • Implementation and management of Staff change in integrated care arena 

Customer Relations/Service:

  • Responsible for customer service/satisfaction and delivery to meet client’s needs
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Troubleshoot client related problems within clinic and community 

Leadership:

  • Staff morale
  • Coordination of staff and all coverage issues
  • Accountability for services
  • Promotes positive approach and client centered activities
  • Recognized as community behavioral health expert
  • Maintain active role daily in health home activity and client flow with staff
  • Supports team environment 

Marketing:

  • Community events
  • Community presentations
  • Community and agency representation for local meetings
  • Work with community leaders to identify gaps in care and develop strategies to address them.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in the Behavioral Sciences or related field (license preferred). 
  • Supervisory and counseling experience required. 
  • Must be able to coordinate the activities of the Center and maintain effective working relationships with agency personnel; county officials; advisory board members; and the general public.
