Business Development Coordinator



Job Summary

Summary: The Business Development Coordinator will be responsible for cultivating and managing supporters of Soles4Souls in various capacities, from beginning to end.

Job Responsibilities

  • Engage with existing supporters and assist in their execution of shoe and financial drives for Soles4Souls’ mission (i.e., providing advice, marketing assets, etc.). Additionally, Manager must be comfortable engaging with supporters from areas and levels.
  • This role will primarily focus on cultivating and growing our Faith-Based and Civic sectors. Experience in these fields is a plus.
  • Motivate and retain assigned supporters to meet shoe and financial goals.
  • Solicit new donors within the assigned focus area and enthusiastically introduce them to our mission.
  • Identify supporters with potential for large, scalable campaigns.


Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and managing reports on shoe drive wins, misses, and quarterly goals.
  • Participate in team meetings to coordinate existing and upcoming campaigns/strategy.
  • Actively participate in weekly 1:1 meetings with Senior Director, Community Partnerships.
  • Periodically attends trade shows and mans S4S booths.


  • A minimum of 4 years in a customer facing role/managing multiple client relationships and attracting volunteers.
  • Ability to remain flexible in an ever-changing nonprofit setting.
  • Excellent and effective verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once; excellent time management and organizational skills are a priority.
  • Ability to present mission to large groups of people and be comfortable with public speaking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Passion for creating a superb experience for our donors!
  • Valid drivers license.
