Job Summary

University School of Nashville invites applications for the position of Annual Fund Associate.

The ideal candidate will have a background in direct solicitation of gifts and volunteer management. The successful candidate will join a highly effective Development team and should have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks by employing effective time management strategies.

Job Responsibilities

The Annual Fund Associate is responsible for assisting with planning and executing a financially successful Annual Fund Campaign that meets dollar and participation goals each year. To support this campaign, the Annual Fund Associate has primary responsibility for engaging campaign volunteers as well as developing and implementing a program for parents and grandparents of alumni, and other related constituents, to maintain an ongoing connection with the school. The Annual Fund Associate reports to the Annual Fund Director and is full-time (12 months), non-exempt. Occasional evening and weekend work is required.

Qualifications

This position requires excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and data management skills, and the ability to use social media for communication and fundraising strategies. Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge and an understanding of school culture is an asset. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two to three years of relevant experience is expected.
