Job Summary

The Center for Living and Learning (CLL) is seeking a part-time administrative assistant to join our team.

CLL is a nonprofit residential treatment facility that provides 24-hour care and supervision for persons with mental illness(es) and/or physical challenges on a beautiful 30-acre farm in Franklin, TN. CLL’s residential program is licensed by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (TDMHSAS).

The administrative assistant’s role is to ensure all administrative aspects of our operations are functioning efficiently and smoothly. The ideal candidate is an administrative professional with experience working in administration for health care and/or residential care facilities. The position is designed for 20 hours a week, but the weekly schedule can be flexible. Compensation will start at 20$ an hour. It is negotiable depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform general office duties such as ordering office supplies, maintaining records management systems, sorting, and distributing mail, and running errands as needed.
  • Manage our program, staff and residential calendars and online database in Google Workspace.
  • Provide administrative support to Executive Director, Resident manager and Vocational manager as needed.
  • Data Entry
  • Meeting minutes for staff meetings

Qualifications

  • Regular attendance during office hours and reliable transportation 
  • 2 years of experience in health care and/or residential treatment is preferred
  • Proficiency with computer technology, Microsoft Office and Google Workforce
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Punctual, organized and self-starting
  • Kind
