Job Summary

Provides a variety of volunteer and Board of Directors management to support the strategic goals and mission of an association. It also provides meeting and conference management, as needed, by the client association. The position uses discretion and independent judgement with respect to managing confidential information such as client finances and governance as well as it relates to the leadership and day to day operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the leadership associated with company staff meetings and assist in coordinating the sharing of business knowledge and solutions with colleagues
  • Oversee and facilitate the management and delivery of services in keeping with the client management agreements
  • Support the client Board of Directors in keeping with specific services and through management and participation in meetings and conferences
  • Oversee and manage all administrative and managerial duties in accordance with the client policies and best practices of the AMC
  • Oversee and manage client financial matters in conjunction with the accounting team and financial policies and guidelines
  • Oversee and facilitate client communications such as e newsletters and announcements through preferred vendor relationships
  • Oversee the facilitation and delivery of client conferences and events as appropriate to the management agreement.
  • Manage the oversight and/or perform a variety of other support functions, including tasks associated with client website updates and general correspondence  
  • Provide leadership for meeting services to assigned clients with the intent to deliver the logistics support and respective services in accordance with the contract.
  • Assist clients with budget development and maintenance to ensure financial success of organization and meetings.
  • Provide input and support for the business development and sales for new Meetings and events business with an emphasis on marketing.
