Do you love working outside? Do you enjoy hiking and learning about the natural world? Would you like to make a difference in your local ecosystem and Park? Then this job is for YOU!
We are looking for strong, energetic, dependable people who are willing to work hard outside in all kinds of weather improving the Warner Parks’ hiking trails, contributing to invasive plant management, native tree planting, natural area restoration and stewardship projects throughout the Parks and Nature Center landscape.
TIME PERIOD: January 11 through March 4, 2022
AGES: 18 years and over
Job Responsibilities
Work on a team improving the Warner Parks’ hiking trails, contributing to invasive plant management, native tree planting, natural area restoration and stewardship projects throughout the Parks and Nature Center landscape.
Team members will learn to work with tools such as fire rakes, mattocks, saws, sledgehammers, loppers, pole pruners, shovels, hammers, drills, post hole diggers, tamping bars, and especially your hands!
Qualifications
Being experienced with a variety of tools is especially helpful. You should be able to carry logs, rocks, and tools for up to a half mile to the trail work site.
