Matchgrant Scholarships

What are MatchGrant scholarships?

MatchGrant scholarships are financial assistance for CNM members to help reduce the costs of workshops. MatchGrant scholarships are structured to cover up to 75% of a workshop cost at a time, while funds last.

  • Organizations with a budget under $2 million can receive a discount of 50% off the workshop price. Eligible participants pay only $37.50 for a half day workshop and $62.50 for a full day workshop.
  • Organizations with a budget under $500,000 receive a discount of 75% off the workshop price. Eligible participants pay only $18.75 for a half day workshop and $31.25 for a full day workshop.

Please note that MatchGrant scholarships become available at the beginning of the calendar year, and they do not roll over to the next year.  MatchGrant scholarships will no longer be available to any member once the collective fund is fully utilized, so we encourage you to register for courses and utilize your funds early in the calendar year. To take advantage of your MatchGrant scholarships, visit the CNM workshop calendar and select the courses you’d like to attend. If those courses are MatchGrant eligible, you can apply the funds at checkout to reduce your overall payment.

Who in my organization can use MatchGrant scholarships?

Anyone in your organization can use MatchGrant funds as long as their individual profile is correctly affiliated with your organization. It is up to your organization to decide how to utilize these funds.

If you have any further questions about MatchGrant funds, please contact info@cnm.org or (615) 259-0100.

Can I use MatchGrant funds on all workshops?

All CNM workshops are eligible for MatchGrant funding. Use of MatchGrant funds may be restricted for some of CNM’s larger special events.

What if my MatchGrant funds show $0?

This can happen for one of two reasons. One possibility is that your organization does not qualify for MatchGrant funds. Alternatively, your organization may have already used all of the funds allotted. Contact info@cnm.org for more details.

What if I don’t see my MatchGrant funds in my online account?

If you have joined as a member and qualify for MatchGrant funds, they should appear on your organizational profile. If you do not see them, it is possible that there are incorrect settings on your account. Please send an email to membership@cnm.org for assistance.

Where can I access the funds?

If you are an eligible organization, the available MatchGrant funds will automatically appear at checkout. Before completing your order, click the “apply discount” button. This must be done before the order is submitted. Any member of the organization can apply these funds towards the payment of their workshop(s) until the funds run out.

Your MatchGrant fund status is visible in your organization’s account profile. If you do not see the funds or have other questions, please contact info@cnm.org.

When can they be utilized?

At the beginning of each calendar year (January 1), the Frist Foundation provides MatchGrant funds to assist CNM members with the cost of workshops.

Funds are available on a first-come first-serve basis. As always, we encourage participants to register for classes and use MatchGrant funds early in the year. Our classes fill up, and our MatchGrant funds are typically gone by the fall.

Who can receive the funds?

CNM member organizations with an annual budget of $2,000,000 or less are eligible for MatchGrant financial assistance funds. If your organization qualifies, you do not need to apply for MatchGrants. All eligible organizations automatically receive access to the funds at the beginning of each calendar year.

*Please note, funds are allotted to eligible organizations, not individual participants. If your organization has an annual budget over $2,000,000, you cannot receive funds.
