Facilitator: John Thalheimer
Emotional Intelligence has become recognized as the differentiator between good leaders and great ones. It is defined as the ability to interact effectively with people by reading emotions and responding accordingly. And unlike IQ, EI can be developed by using simple techniques to improve our natural awareness of our emotions and how they impact our daily lives.
Every day we make hundreds, if not thousands, of decisions that bring us closer to or farther away from the future
we envision for ourselves. Those individuals who are successful consistently make the right behavioral decision in the moment to move closer to their dreams.
Participants in this session will learn to:
• Review the impact of our decisions on successful leadership
• Define the different aspects of Emotional Intelligence
• Understand how emotions play a role in our ability to lead
• Develop a better understanding of why we respond
• Work on building a personal model of behavior
