** Due to COVID-19, we are transitioning this workshop to an online Live Classroom using Zoom. You will receive a link to the Zoom session upon registering. This workshop will have an interactive group process workshop from 9 am-12 pm, and then there will be smaller group breakout sessions in the afternoon with more individualized support.
Leading, managing and facilitating group discussions is, potentially, the most important leadership and professional competency of our time. (READ THAT LINE AGAIN.)
Organizations and collective communities today are trying to name, define and solve highly complex issues and problems. This effort requires skill and intention to be effective. Professionals who are effective in this area understand and appreciate that big problems and issues can only be addressed by harnessing the cognitive diversity that is present in diverse stakeholder groups. Whether that is a collective impact effort, a cross-organizational collection of department representatives or a new program team, professionals today need strategies that prepare for and address very predictable pitfalls of group process and conflict.
This new CNM offering is an experiential training to provide participants with tools needed to form dynamic and resilient teams. For professionals looking for new tools to engage diverse participants and support their teams to durable decision-making, this class is a must.
