Description: This workshop is designed for practitioners new to evaluating programs. Learn the foundations of evaluation, the basics of the evaluation life cycle, and how to ensure your evaluation activities are done ethically and with equity in mind. This course requires no previous evaluation experience and will provide a foundational understanding for those new to evaluation and/or data collection and analysis. Learn best practices, share your evaluation woes, and get hands-on experience developing an evaluation plan.

This work will amplify the impact of nonprofits by helping participants:
- Understand the foundations of and uses for program evaluation
- Explore the importance of program design as a foundational activity for evaluation
- Develop a basic understanding of the basics of each phase of the evaluation life cycle - program design, evaluation focus, selecting and designing data collection methods, collecting and analyzing data, and reporting findings.
