A capital campaign is a time-limited effort by a nonprofit organization to raise significant dollars for a specific project. Capital campaigns require extraordinary preparation and skillful executions. This workshop will be highly engaging, and participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with one another throughout the session.
Learning Objectives:
• Discover the steps that need to be taken before a capital campaign begins including feasibility studies, case statements, and recruitment of leadership roles
• Learn about prospect identification and cultivation tactics
• Explore the tips for making the perfect ask
Full participation in Conducting a Capital Campaign is applicable for 2.5 points in Category 1.B -Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
