(Although CNM's Groundwater session is currently at capacity, you can join the waiting list or access the training from other organizations by checking the Racial Equity Institute's website here.)
The Center for Nonprofit Management is excited to host the Racial Equity Institute’s (REI) nationally recognized Groundwater training on April 5th and September 20th from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM CST. During the Groundwater presentation, REI facilitators will use an enlightening combination of real-world stories and compelling data to illuminate the persistent and structural nature of racism in our society.
This data-based approach will provide an eye-opening look at the root causes of many of society’s most persistent problems, and highlight how current systems dramatically impact marginalized communities at the local, state, and national level -- a fact that has been brought to the forefront again by the uneven impacts of the current global pandemic on many already vulnerable communities.
Participation in this eye-opening virtual training is limited to 100 participants. (Only one participant per registration. Multiple people cannot share a screen.)
Note: This workshop can be used as an elective for all CNM Certificate programs requiring additional electives for completion.
*Workshop times are Central Standard Time.
