Job Summary
The Database Specialist & Development Coordinator is an integral member of the marketing and development team. Primary responsibilities: manage the donor database, gift entry and acknowledgement; coordinate fundraising campaigns, events and meetings; grant writing, editing and reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and has a positive attitude.
Job Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively across all marketing and development team efforts
- Maintain database integrity to ensure accurate, timely, and personalized donor communications
- Provide reports, process invoices and credit card receipts
- Coordinate all aspects of solicitations/events/meetings
- Work with program managers on all aspects of grant submission and reporting
- Discover and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- Proven expertise in managing databases required; fundraising database preferred
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Constant Contact, Donor Perfect (or similar database)
- Familiarity with social media outlets
