Job Summary
The Center for Living and Learning (CLL) is seeking Caregivers with part-time and full-time shift openings.
CLL is a nonprofit residential treatment facility that provides 24-hour care for persons with mental illness(es) and/or physical challenges on a serene 30-acre farm on Old Hillsboro Road in Franklin, TN.

Two of the Center’s long-term residents are requiring additional care.
We are licensed by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (TDMHSAS). Each resident at the Center is a willing and active participant in their program, med compliant, stabilized and pursuing personal goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist resident(s) with personal care, which may include toileting, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating
- Follow a developed plan of care, which may include assisting with exercise, encouraging resident(s) to engage with CLL’s programming, and reminding resident(s) to utilize learned coping skills in stressful situations
- Assist resident(s) in maintaining an organized living space according to their needs and ensure that safety measures are in place
- Provide resident(s) with emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks
- Provide resident(s) with mobility assistance
- Monitor and report changes in resident’s health, behavior, and needs
- Maintain open communication with CLL staff and management regarding resident’s physical and emotional condition
- Assist in administering medications

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Candidates must be 21+ years old
- Possess a high school diploma
- Have at least two years’ relevant experience
- Current and valid first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- All candidates are subject to a background check

- Ability to adapt and problem solve calmly and effectively
