Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Copywriting
- Capturing Photo and Video content
- Print and digital publications and content
- Quarterly Newsletters
- Direct mail
- Brochures, invitations, postcards, flyers, annual reports, stationary
- Web, Social Media, e-blasts
- Marketing
- Support fundraising appeals and campaign goals
- Direct graphic design and print vendors
- Request quotes, create purchase order, track expenses
- Manage inventory and publication reprints
- Publicity
- Press Releases
- Media Relations
- Print Inventory
Qualifications
Desired skills and attributes
- You have a passion for serving others and embrace our mission
- You are a pro at using social media and social media analytics
- You are a great writer, story teller, editor, and can be concise
- Strategic planner, meets deadlines, problem solver, collaborative, positive thinker and outlook
- Proficient using Microsoft Office, Constant Contact, WordPress
Experience Desired
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 or more years writing experience producing editorial content, photos and videos within a marketing or communications department, preferably for a nonprofit organization.
- Adobe InDesign; Photoshop; and graphic design skills are a plus
